I. About "purRpose" Coaching & Consulting

1 / Q: What kind of coaching and consulting do you offer?

A: We offer purpose-driven coaching and consulting for individuals, entrepreneurs, and teams. Our structured process helps you discover your core values, define a clear vision, and create an actionable plan to achieve your goals, fostering accountability every step of the way. The aim is to move from understanding your purpose to impactful performance.

2 / Q: What is the core philosophy behind your approach?

A: My philosophy is rooted in the belief that clarity, purpose, and values-driven action are the foundations of meaningful growth and success. Whether working with individuals or businesses, I help you find your "compass" (values, purpose, direction), chart your "map" (vision, goals), and then take intentional steps forward with integrity.

3 / Q: What makes your approach unique?

A: My approach uniquely blends corporate experience (Swiss Re), startup C-level learnings (building and scaling a company in San Francisco), and a deep passion for personal and professional growth. This is combined with a structured, values-first methodology and a genuine commitment to your journey. I draw from a rich tapestry of experiences, including a transformative civilian service mission in Cambodia, which instilled a deep appreciation for simplicity and impact. My core values – Integrity, Simplicity, Authenticity, and Growth – are woven into every aspect of my work.

4 / Q: What inspires your work and coaching philosophy?

A: I'm inspired by people uniting for a greater purpose and those who lead with humility and conviction yet remain open to growth. My approach is also informed by a range of thought leaders and authors in areas like purpose-driven leadership (e.g., Simon Sinek), essentialism (Greg McKeown), values-alignment (Bradley Hook), and building impactful businesses (Tony Fadell, Gino Wickman). My "Inspiration" section lists some key influences.

II. The "purRpose" Process: Compass, Map, Journey

5 / Q: Can you briefly explain your three-step process: "Find Your Compass," "Draw Your Map," and "Start Your Journey"?

A: sure, here are the three steps we will be following:

  1. Find Your Compass: This initial phase is about deep discovery. We define your core values, uncover your "why" or purpose, and clarify your "what" – the domains you want to focus on (for individuals: family, work, friendship, spirituality, health; for businesses: what it does, who it serves, how it creates value).

  2. Draw Your Map: With your compass set, we develop a long-term vision (up to 10 years out) and then break it down into tangible milestones – typically 3-year, 1-year, and quarterly goals. This creates a clear roadmap.

  3. Start Your Journey: This is where action meets accountability. We establish a rhythm of structured check-ins, using measurable progress markers (like KPIs for businesses) to ensure you stay on track, adapt as needed, and maintain momentum.

6 / Q: What does a typical session or workshop involve

A: All our work combines three key elements:

  • Theory: Understanding the foundational concepts and frameworks relevant to the specific stage (Compass, Map, or Journey).

  • Exercises: Practical application through self-reflection for individuals, and a mix of individual reflection and collaborative team exercises for businesses.

  • Discussion & Finalization: We consolidate your insights, and I provide input based on my experience and knowledge to help you finalize each point. I can also provide more in-depth material if desired.

7 / Q: How are the initial "Find Your Compass" and "Draw Your Map" stages typically structured?

A: To build strong momentum and ensure we delve deep without losing focus, I strongly recommend undertaking the "Find Your Compass" and "Draw Your Map" stages as dedicated full-day experiences (each). However, I understand that schedules can be demanding. As an alternative, we can spread each stage over approximately 4 weeks, with 1-2 focused 2-hour sessions per week, complemented by homework assignments.

III. Services for Individuals

8 / Q: Who is your individual coaching best suited for?

A: My individual coaching is designed for people who are genuinely motivated to learn about themselves, challenge their current status quo, and are committed to living a more intentional and purposeful life. It's for those ready to do the work and embrace a structured process.

9 / Q: Are there individuals for whom this coaching might not be the right fit?

A: Yes. This process requires discipline and a willingness to engage in honest self-reflection to achieve the best results. I am a direct communicator and will address challenging topics when necessary to support your growth. Therefore, this coaching is not intended for individuals currently experiencing a deep life crisis or acute mental health challenges; in such cases, seeking support from a qualified psychologist or therapist is recommended. My aim is to empower proactive growth, not to provide therapeutic crisis intervention.

10 / Q: What is the time commitment and pricing for individual coaching?

A:

  • Find Your Compass: 8-12 hours. CHF 1,500 + VAT.

  • Define Your Map: 8-12 hours. CHF 1,500 + VAT.

  • Embark on Your Journey (Ongoing Support): Flexible options of 1-hour weekly or 90-minute monthly progress meetings, plus 3-hour quarterly review meetings. Priced at CHF 150 / hour + VAT.

11 / Q: Tell me more about the Personal Retreat Option in Portugal.

A: The Personal Retreat is a 2-3-day intensive program in Portugal designed for a deep dive into defining your core values, clarifying your vision, and setting your goals. It's a wonderful opportunity to step away from your daily routine, immerse yourself in a supportive environment, and enjoy beautiful surroundings, delicious meals, and curated activities like hiking and surfing. IV. Services for Businesses

12 / Q: What types of businesses do you work with?

A: I offer my work to a range of organizations, including small companies, startups, mid-sized businesses, and specific teams or departments within larger corporations. My approach is flexible and adaptable to your unique context.

13 / Q: What is the ideal team size for your business workshops?

A: To ensure efficiency and active participation from everyone, I generally suggest working with leadership teams or core groups of 4-8 people. This allows for productive discussion and decision-making.

14 / Q: How does your process specifically help a business's bottom line and long-term success?

A: While purpose and values are central, the ultimate goal is to drive sustainable business success. I focus on key value drivers, especially for small to mid-sized companies:

  • Clarity and Focus: The "Compass, Map, Journey" process ensures everyone is aligned on what's essential, reducing wasted effort.

  • Improved Company Culture & Employee Loyalty: A shared sense of purpose and values fosters engagement and reduces turnover.

  • Stronger Financials & Operations: We touch upon the importance of impeccable financials and clearly defined Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

  • Reduced Key Dependencies: Building systems and processes that don't solely rely on founders or key managers.

  • Diversification: Encouraging broader strategies in areas like marketing and sales channels to build resilience. Ultimately, a purpose-driven, values-aligned business with clear strategic execution is more innovative, resilient, and profitable.

15 / Q: What is the time commitment and pricing for business consulting?

A:

  • Defining Your Compass: 8-12 hours (can be split or a full-day offsite). CHF 2,000 + VAT.

  • Define Your Map: 8 hours (can be split or a full-day offsite). CHF 2,000 + VAT.

V. Logistics & Getting Started

17 / Q: In what languages do you offer your services?

A: I am fluent in both English and German and can conduct all coaching and consulting sessions in either language. All materials are available in both English and German as well.

18 / Q: Do you have an active presence on social media platforms like LinkedIn, Facebook, X, or TikTok?

A: You won't find an extensive social media presence from me. While I currently have a LinkedIn profile, I am not very active on it and may phase it out. I do not maintain accounts on platforms like Facebook, X, TikTok, or others. My primary channel for sharing more about my work, core beliefs, insights on purpose-driven growth, and related topics will be a blog I am establishing on this website. This decision is intentional and stems from a core belief: social media platforms are generally designed to maximize user screen time, often at the expense of well-being. People trade their most valuable asset - time - for an experience that can, as research suggests, contribute to anxiety or depression. While I acknowledge that valuable content and discussions exist on these platforms, I have reservations about their underlying business models and their broader impact, viewing them as potentially misaligned with genuine well-being and intentional living.

19 / Q: What if I'm unsure if this is the right approach for me or my business?

A: That's perfectly understandable. The best way to find out is to connect for an initial, no-obligation conversation. We can discuss your specific situation, goals, and see if there's a good fit.

20 / Q: How do I get started?

A: Please reach out via the contact form on the website, book a free discovery call or send an email to hello@purrpose.co. I look forward to hearing from you!
